RebeccasReads.com changed hands and the new owner, a long term hands-on entrepreneurial client of ours, wanted an attractive, upbeat design. One that she and her staff could maintain on their own. She called on us to redesign and re-implement the site.
RebeccasReads.com is a book review and publicity site. They provide book reviews to readers and publicity services to authors so their site needs to appeal to a wide audience.
Starting from the new logo
Our job was to find a new logo, a new look, and an easy to navigate menu system for the complex site, then to build it in such a way that the Rebecca's Reads staff could add to it on their own. We created an ingenious logo based on typography that echoes the look of an open book. We integrated it with the logotype and supported all of it with a unique, strong and upbeat color scheme. The rest of the site, as usual, grew from that stable base of great graphic design.
The RebeccasReads.com site is complex. On the homepage there are eight levels of navigation. It was a challenge to integrate all of them into one easy to use page but we are confident that we succeeded. Can you find all eight levels on the home page? The RebeccasReads staff adds to and maintains the site using templates we created. It was a big site. Now it is a HUGE site, and they continue to grow it. They call on us to add new features and straighten things out when something goes 
amiss.
